CNC Horizontal Boring Mill Machinist

T-MAR Industries Ltd is searching for an experienced CNC Machinist with a strong machining background to join our team. Our reputation of customer service and quality products is built on our team’s integrity, determination and 34 years of business expertise. We are a customer orientated full service shop that repairs and manufactures Forestry equipment and attachments. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
• Responsible for the daily programming/setup and operation of a Doosan DBC130 CNC Horizontal Boring Mill with Fanuc controller.
• Responsible for ensuring that the part setups are done safely and efficiently.
• Must be able to communicate respectfully and clearly with all members of our team.
• Responsible for maintaining superior quality in every part manufactured.
• Respectful use of the equipment, tooling and facility.
• Take initiative to research better machining methods to improve job efficiencies.
• Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work site.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum 8+ years Journeyman Red Seal Machinist with CNC programming and machining on large horizontal boring mills.
• Proficient with using Fanuc controllers, G codes and Macros
• Experience with using overhead cranes
• Experience with using Doosan CNC Horizontals will be considered a benefit

Robotic Welder Programmer and Operator

T-MAR Industries Ltd is searching for an experienced Programmer and Operator of a Lincoln Electric System 55 Robotic Welding Machine who has a strong welding background to join our team. Our reputation of customer service and quality products is built on our team's integrity, determination and 34 years of business expertise.
We are a customer orientated full service shop that repairs and manufactures Forestry equipment and attachments. If you would like to live on beautiful Vancouver Island and challenge your mind and welding talents with a variety of interesting projects and enjoy welding medium to large parts this is the career path for you!

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
• Responsible for the daily programming/setup and operation of our brand-new Lincoln Electric System 55 Fanuc Arcmate 120iC/12L with R30iB a-cabinet controller and Fanuc iPendant Interface.
• Responsible for ensuring that the part setups are done safely and efficiently.
• Must be able to communicate respectfully and clearly with all members of our team.
• Responsible for maintaining superior quality in every part manufactured and that welds are to proper sizing.
• Respectful use of the equipment, tooling and facility.
• Must be fluent in reading and understanding weld symbols, interpreting engineered drawings.
• Take initiative to research better fit-up and welding methods to improve job efficiencies.
• Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work site.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum 8+ years B Journeyman ticketed welder with 4 plus years experience with robotic welding systems, programming and operating.
• Proficient with using Fanuc robotic controllers.
• Experience with using overhead cranes.

Senior Heavy Equipment Mechanical/Design Engineer

Education:
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Registered or qualified to be registered as a Professional Engineer in the province of B.C.

About:
T-MAR is an operator-owned logging equipment manufacturer based in scenic Campbell River.  We design and build our own lines of attachments and our flagship swing yarders from the ground up.  We also design custom solutions for coastal logging customers and take pride in our family friendly community.  

Duties:
• Work toward taking a leading role in our equipment design team
• Ensure design and drawing consistency and quality is maintained
• Oversee drawing vault, drawing revisions.
• Ensure project timelines are maintained
• Participate in machine problem resolution with occasional on-site visits

Qualifications:
• Experience in mobile heavy equipment
• Mechanically inclined and able to work from a clean sheet.
• A background in winches, gears and/or drivetrains
• Strength in hydraulic design is also desirable
• Comfortable with autocad inventor or similar
• Knowledge of WSBC regulations pertaining to mobile equipment or logging equipment
• Ability to mentor E.I.T.s and engineers of different experience levels.
